Video of Latest Palm Pre Ad

We mentioned in a recent post about Palm launching a video ad for the new Pre handset, which is released on Saturday 6 June. Well Facebook have now unveiled the new ad of the Palm Pre, and I was impressed, better than I first thought it would be.

The director of the ad is the same who did the opening ceremony to the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The ad is not like any other cell phone ad where they try to say that they are better than its competition. Instead, the video ad has no smarmy references to its competition.

When you view the ad you will see a woman sitting on a rock with her Palm Pre and she is surrounded by what I assume are Shaolin monks. The woman goes about using some of the features of the phone, while the monks move about in a smooth fluid motion.
