Palm Pre release days away, Touchstone wireless charger released

We all thought that there would not be any Palm Pre accessories before the handset actually launched; well the Touchstone wireless charger has already been released days before the Pre launch day, which is Saturday 6 June.
You might wonder why someone would want to purchase a charger for a cell phone, when it is not even out yet. Surly it is better to get one now before they run down on stock, and I am certain that the Touchstone wireless charger will sell quickly.
EverythingPre informs us that one of its forum members has purchased the Palm Touchstone from a Sprint store for just $50. The sales rep was meant to sell the Touchstone and Pre battery cover as a combo pack but made a mistake, the sales rep had to honor the sale.

The salesperson qouted him the wrong price on the package many times even though the customer said are you sure of the price.The customer went to the store to purchase it and the same salesperson said it was $50 stil but upon ringing it up he realized it came up as $70. HE DID NOT HAVE TO SELL IT AT $50..NO law says so(YET-with what we got in Washington now many laws are being changed) The STORE HONORED the quoted price by a managers approval.That being said good luck because Best Buy or Walmart or Radio Shack most times are not going to honor someone making a mistake in quoting a price as Prices change all the time.To give good customer service and bring ustomers back into store though they do this on mistakes but not always!!! I have actually had Walmart NOT HONOR a Price that was marked on the Product years ago and they said a customer must have switched the price tag even though I showed the Manager that they were all 10 of them marked the same discounted price. All he did was take them and re-price themCan’t have them arested to make them sell it to you at that price now can you. Sure if it happens like that a lot a class action lawsuit can be brought against them but over one item miss-priced or quoted give me a break =D
Give me a break? A non-story about an accessory being available before the product is bad enough. Then a rant comment that is even longer than the original blog? You don’t need a break, you need a life.
