Japan: Black Nintendo Wii and Red DSi
By: Peter Chubb | June 4, 2009 | Leave a CommentIf you are lucky enough to live in Japan, then you will soon be able to get your hands on a Black Nintendo Wii and a Red DSi. This is not a third party offering any upgrades; these are official from Nintendo themselves. This is something that should have been offered to consumers when the Wii first launched.
Better late than never, and it is nice to finally have a Nintendo Wii that does not look out of place next to your glossy black TV and Sony PS3. There is a complete range of black accessories to accompany the Wii console, such as the Wiimote and nunchuck.
According to Engadget, the new Black Nintendo Wii will have a price of ¥25,000.
We mentioned above that, there would also be a new Red DSi; this will go nicely with the rest of the color range, which consists of black, white, pink, green and blue. These have a price tag of ¥18,900, and will be released on July 7.
