We finally have a confirmed release date for Microsoft’s highly anticipated Windows 7 OS. With Apple’s WWDC event taking place on Monday, it will be interesting to see if they announce a release date for OS X Snow Leopard to keeps things competitive with Microsoft.
According to i4u, Microsoft Windows 7 is due to be released on October 22nd. It has been reported that Microsoft will enable a special option to upgrade to Windows 7 for current vista users.
With Microsoft’s date all set and confirmed, will Apple attempt to compete with Microsoft by announcing an earlier date than October for OS X Snow Leopard? We’ll have to wait and see on Monday when WWDC 09 kicks off.
