16GB and 32GB New 2009 iPhone: evidence is overwhelming
By: Peter Chubb | June 4, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have all read the rumors of a new 2009 Apple iPhone with a storage capacity of 16GB and 32GB; it now seems that the evidence is overwhelming. According to AppleInsider sources, Carphone Warehouse, the largest independent European mobile phone retailer has placed four placeholders in its inventory list for the new 2009 iPhone.
Apple have yet to confirm a new handset, however they should inform us next week at the start of the WWDC 2009. The Carphone Warehouse must know something as they have already started to make arrangements for the coming change.
AppleInsider have managed to come by a screenshot of the iPhone reseller’s inventory system, you can clearly see placeholders for the 16GB and 32GB iPhone’s, with a choice of white or black.
Over the past few weeks, we have been learning of more rumors of a new iPhone, and although this screenshot from The Carphone Warehouse should not be treated as confirmation of a new handset, just remember that they are an official iPhone reseller, and they would certainly be givin the information long before we would know anything about it.
