Sony’s PSP Go: Overpriced or spot on?
By: Peter Chubb | June 3, 2009 | 5 CommentsE3 2009 has already given us so much information to digest, and one of the hottest pieces of news was the rumored Sony PSP Go. There were rumors that the new handheld was coming, and Sony verified it yesterday, but is the new device spot on or overpriced.
That is just one question that Engadget have asked its users, so we thought we would ask ours the same question. We reported in an earlier post that the PSP Go would sell for $249.99; many believe that this is expensive for old hardware.
Engadget have asked its users a number of questions on the Sony PSP Go, and the most popular one seems to be “Don’t own a gaming handheld, and this won’t win me over.” I selected “I want one, but it’s too expensive. Maybe after a price drop.” Seems like I have it all wrong on that one, as out of six questions, that was down id fifth place.
