Project Natal: Hands-on review released
By: Alan Ng | June 3, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe have a hands-on review for you to read on Project Natal, the recently announced new motion control device from Microsoft. Three games were available for preview and Eurogamer has posted up their impressions on it.
First up in their review was Milo, an interactive character designed over at Lionhead Studios. Eurogamer got the chance to see just how the Project Natal sensor works with this game by performing simple tasks such as smiling and moving their body in a certain direction. Milo could instantly recognise the movements and acted accordingly.
Other software that was previewed in the brief hands-on was Burnout, the original Xbox title from way back in the day. Only difference now, was that you are now able to control the car without using a pad, instead using body movements such as putting a leg forward and backwards, and pretending you had a steering wheel in front of you and so on.
For the full review as well as a look at another bit of software called Ricochet, head to the link above for much more details. Let us know what you think of Project Natal.
