Low Palm Pre supplies and why it may be good
By: Peter Chubb | June 3, 2009 | Leave a CommentThe wait is finally over, as on Saturday June 6, 2009 the Palm Pre will be launched on the Sprint network. We have already reported that there are short supplies of the handset, but this could actually be a good, let us explain more.
Do you remember when the Apple iPhone 3G launched, there were long lines in stores due to how long it took to activate the new handset as it is a long and slow process. This will also be the case for the Palm Pre, and it does not matter how experienced the sales rep is.
IntoMobile explains that the limited supply of Pre smartphones will certainly prevent the long lines that we are used to seeing when a hot handset is launched. Sprint has come up with a system that will hopefully speed things up in store, which you can learn more from InsideSprintNow.
