Best Buy: Low on Palm Pre and iPhone 3G’s

We recently told you about the stock levels for both the Palm Pre here and the new iPhone 2009 here. Best Buy are going to be selling both phones but reports are suggesting that they will have very low stock on both models.

We also told you recently about Sprint’s timed exclusivity on the Palm Pre, so perhaps this is a key reason why Palm Pre units are rumored to be so low.

As for the iPhone, Apple are yet to give away any kind of announcements on the new device and are standing firm on a announcement at this year’s WWDC.

Were you hoping to pick up a Palm Pre or iPhone from Best Buy? If so, does the predicted low stock bother you or not?

yes it bothers me.. cause they are probably creating a FALSE sense for supply and demand… nobody is gonna put out state of the art equipment and not gotten their POOP together about supply… gimme a break

I am not going to fool with BB because I want the phone Saturday. Some of the Sprint stores in my city only have 10 Pre’s so how many could BB Have? 2 or 4?
I would not stand in line to save a rebate and risk having them run out.
My local Sprint store has reserved a unit for me and claim I can pick it up anytime after they open.
    Sweet!
I also bought some accessories for the Pre and Sprint just put the bill on my account.

Yes, the purported low stock bothers me. I’m too old to camp out overnight, but I’ve been waiting 6 mo for this phone. It has everything I want and I don’t want to wait any longer. I want my Pre and I want it NOW!
