2009 Mazda3 Recall
By: Peter Chubb | June 3, 2009 | Leave a CommentMazda have had to recall 7,100 Mazda3 vehicles, those that are affected by the recall are the models with Dynamic Stability Control. It seems that the system has failed to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 129.
It seems that the yaw rate that was measured far exceeded the test standards. This could result in improper operation of the Electronic Stability Control. If you own a Mazda3 with this system, then contact your dealer who will inspect the vehicle and then replace the system free of charge.
