
Senators to grill GM and Chrysler execs over dealerships closings
By: Alan Ng | June 2, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been revealed recently that Senators are planning to question chiefs of General Motors Corp and Chrysler LLC on Wednesday about the future of their dealerships, many of which are expected to close following their filing for bankruptcy.
According to this WSJ article, Sens. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., and Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-Texas are going to be calling Chrysler and GM chiefs in front of a court to testify about all the recent issues that have taken place recently.
The WSJ also state that the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation is due to take place on Wednesday afternoon.
