Why is it not fair? Just because a developer publishes one product multiplatform doesnt mean all of their products have to be. No one who owns a ps3 cries that Konami sells other games on 360 but not MGS4 but when the shoe is on the other foot evil M$ is just throwing money around to ruin gaming for them.

What a big fat surprise, i saw coming. Makes no real difference though as PS3 will still get the map packs. 4-5 weeks is an easy sacrifice, much prefer to wait than to play on an xbox surrounded by mouthy little 10 year old kids crying because they got shot in the face too many times.

PS3 has better software+hardware and is much more prestigious to own. The 4 to 5 weeks isn’t a lot considering i will know that you poor little fags that own a 360 will have chronic lag and terrible gameplay. Hope you have fun wasting you’re nerdy little life.

To be fair – I couldn’t care less about what Microsoft have done. Business is business, and besides – how many people are going to have their consoles sent back to the company for repairs, thanks to excessive use of this game?

As nice as it would have been to have these maps on the PS3, it doesn’t really phase me much. Besides, they may mean ‘exclusive’ for a while, then release on PS3.

Anyway; I expect the game will be good enough to not want/need the map packs right at the start, So keep your ‘Exclusive’ MW2 DLC, Microsoft – We don’t need it yet.

I Agree Microsofts Compulsive Bribing is indeed a problem in the gaming community however, it will not be long before producers realise the the xbox 360 cannot meet the next gernartion of gaming and the will jump bandwagon – sony offers alot more and im sure microsoft are incapble of sheding this much cash in the current eco climate for much longer.

personally, I couldn’t care less if they don’t give us ps3 owners the map packs for a year. I’m getting a little annoyed at having to shell out money all the time for new content, just so I can keep up with everyone else. As far as i’m concerned, the maps should be free, and trickle out over time.

I hate microsoft. For pretty much every game that is good and that has downloadable content. Microsoft goes ahead and forks out their money that they could be using to fix the X’box just to bribe the companies to delay the downloads. Fallout 3, Modern warfare 2, any more? What i think is that they get it early. Not us getting it late. Frrom all the info iv’e heard aabout prefious exclusive content, it has had magor glitches and problems that they can’t fix for about 2-4 weeks. In that time we will only have to wait one week and the content should be fixed. It’s still crap though that Microsoft are doiin this. Sony won’y even speed a penny on developers. I just hope that the content won’t work for the X-box users.

Classic PS3 owners moaning about the Xbox. Just cos all you bought was an expensive Bluray player, no need to get bitter about the whole thing. Xbox = better graphically and cheaper and better games – bit of a no-brainer really.

Instead of talking trash about Xbox 360, the trash talk should rather be rated against PS3 owners. And the reason why PS3 owners are getting so pissed, is because they realize how stupid they are, especially after buying such a lame console. Anyway, I’m not going to argue about the details, Microsoft is still offering the best of the best, making most PS3 owner jealous, which they’ve already demonstrated more than twice. I’d rather just look in the garbage, instead of buying a PS3, because I prefer not to waste my money on such crap. But on the other side, if you’re a nerd, an idiot, noob… Anything like that, feel free to buy a PS3, even if it’s not worth the money, you’re just fooling yourself. You should all understand, that we know the PS3 is a mile and a half further ahead than the XBOX 360. Microsoft ‘bribe’ companies for exclusivity because their consoles are crap anyway.

But, it’s Modern Warfare 2… At least it’s on PS3.
