E3 2009: Metal Gear Solid: Rising announced for Xbox 360

It’s looks like the wait is finally over for Xbox 360 owners as Konami have just announced Metal Gear Solid: Rising for the Xbox 360. We knew it would be something special once the countdown timers expired, but did anyone expect this?

As reported from VG247, Metal Gear Solid: Rising will be based about Raiden, the key character in MGS2. Reports are suggesting that Snake won’t be involved in this game, but you can predict he’ll make some sort of cameo appearance.

You can expect more details on this during Konami’s press conference on the 3rd June. For now though, check out the trailer for Metal Gear Solid: Rising below, it’s a good one.
