General Motors is in a very strange position at the moment, they filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy protection on Monday, so we know that changes are about to come. For GM to emerge from this they will need some great new models for its customers and the automaker is hoping that the 2011 Chevrolet Viva is one of them.
The future for General Motors does not involve large SUVs and station wagons, instead it is more about economy, and the 2011 Chevrolet Viva is just that. Motor Trend tell us that GM already has the Chevy Aveo, but as it is made in Korea, it has a cheap feel to it.
The new 2011 Chevrolet Viva will be made on U.S. soil so will be a slightly more expensive, but the build quality is much better. One thing we do know, it will be cars like the Viva that will decide the future fate of what was the biggest carmaker in the world, GM.
