Sony PS3′s Vidzone: Preview

GameSpot has given us a video preview of the upcoming VidZone service for the Playstation 3. Vidzone is expected to be released at the end of the week in Europe and Australia.

VidZone is a free service that will allow users to stream music videos on their PS3 by syncing with the VidZone online service. Judging by the GS hands-on video, the interface is looking very slick indeed and GS say that the video buffering and loading time is very impressive, with each video only taking a matter of seconds to play.

If your a music fan, you’ll definately want to check out this program as VidZone looks to have a vast back catalogue of tracks to choose from. PS3 users will be able to easily queue up multiple videos, perfect for those house parties with friends.

Sony have said that VidZone is going to get a proper introduction at this year’s E3, so keep your eyes open for that.

Watch the video in the link above and let us know your initial impressions of VidZone.

Hi-Def trailer available on the PSN. Looks very impressive assuming you like that music they have stocked. I think my girlfriend’s going to overdose when it’s released. *hides controller* :-)

It appears like a really great application, but I can’t get any sound! Googling this problem shows that many people are suffering from the same problem. So far no solution. Nothing obvious in the system sound settings, but why should I have to change anything there when all other games and apps are working..?

Tried it out last night. The vidoe choice is fantastic and with no delay. Very impressed with it and the ability to playlist tracks will be great for parties. Also had a go at playing remotely through my PSP and it also worked great.

I believe avoiding packaged foods would be the first step to help lose weight. They will often taste great, but highly processed foods contain very little vitamins and minerals, making you take more just to have enough electricity to get through the day. If you are constantly ingesting these foods, moving over to cereals and other complex carbohydrates will help you have more electricity while consuming less. Thanks alot : ) for your blog post.
