Sony Ericsson phone that communicates with PS3
By: Peter Chubb | June 1, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt seems like Sony have got over its differences with Ericsson, as Sony Ericsson have confirmed that they are working on a new phone that communicates with the PS3. The new handset is to be called Aino, and will use Remote Play functionality something that is already put to good use on the Sony PSP.
This means that you will be able to control as well as access media, which has been stored on your PlayStation 3 while you are on the move. Spong have said that the new Sony Ericsson Aino will be able to use the PlayTV service on the PS3 via the new handset.
There is one drawback though; the new phone will not be able to support High Definition videos. Sony Ericsson are showing that they are not going to be left behind when it comes to entertainment features on their future handsets, and allowing it to talk with the PS3 is certainly a great move.
