Matte Backside of New iPhone 2009

We have heard fresh reports about a possible matte casing for the new Apple iPhone. Rumors first surfaced back in February as seen in this story, but now we have another image for you to look at.

As you can see from this i4u story, there is a new picture of the rumored iPhone matte casing. The picture has come courtesy of MacRumors, who simply said it was a ‘picture they managed to obtain’.

Either way, it is thought that the matte finish on the new iPhone would prevent fingerprint markings that was a slight issue on the iPhone 3G.
