Apple Tablet Specs: Gap between iPhone and MacBook

With the current state of economy, its clear that there is a market for a device that’s fits between the iPhone and MacBook, so with WWDC 2009 just days away, will we see an Apple Tablet or another type of Apple mobile computer?

Rumors have Apple working on a device to bridge this gap, that’s smaller than a MacBook and bigger than an iPod Touch. These rumors have been supported by whispers from contract manufacturers and Apple’s patent applications.

Cnet news are reporting about what the specs might be, based both on rumor and fantasy. They have the device at 7 to 8 inches with a release date some time in 2010.

The laptop industry has smashed desktop sales, and now netbooks are thriving in a global recession for both their mobility and cheaper price, which can even be free with some phone deals.

Apple need some of the netbook cake and its seems inevitable that they will release a device for this market, which would be a must for Apple fans.
