British Broadcaster Sky have confirmed this morning, that they have struck a deal with Microsoft to bring TV and film content as well as live sport events to the Xbox 360 console.
As this BBC article reports, the deal will see the Xbox 360 delivering live TV broadcasts for the very first time. Xbox 360 owners with an Xbox Live subscription will be able to access Sky content without the need for an existing Sky subscription and Satellite dish.
Sky also point out that deals might be available for those already signed up to Sky, such as a reduced price for the Xbox 360 content. The content should be available on the 360 sometime in Autumn.

M$ want to sort out the 360’s build quality and fan noise if they serious expect people to use it as a fully blown media hub.
I recently got a Jasper Elite and it’s just about passable but my old Elite sounded like a jet engine having a fight with a Freddy Kruger.
