Dell’s new Studio 14z laptop: thin-and-light

Dell are going to be shipping their new range of Studio laptops onto the market soon. Engadget has managed to get hold of one, the Studio 14z and have posted a quick hands-on of the laptop for you to check out.

The main emphasis around the Studio 14z laptop is that it is a very light and compact system. As well as that, the Studio 14z is expected to be very budget friendly and come with a set of generous specs.

Some of these include a Core 2 processor, HDMI outputs, eSATA and an Express34 card slot. Engadget also state that the Studio14z will include an external drive which should appeal to students.

  1. I am planning on getting a laptop for my mother, what should I get? I have heard that a Mac would be best for her.
