If Sprint thought that they were going to have things easy in June once they launch the Palm Pre, then they had better think again. Verizon Wireless will steal Sprint’s Palm Pre thunder, as they will launch the enV Touch on June 5.
The enV Touch is an update to the two-year-old Voyager and comes with some much-needed updates, these include a 3-inch internal display complete with on-screen keyboard, and a 3-inch external screen.
The new handset also comes with 3.2 megapixel camera, although this is not the best camera on a cell phone, it does come with a Schneider-Kreuznach lens. According to BGR, the Verizon Wireless enV Touchwill sell for $219.99 after a $70 mail-in rebate, that is on a two-year contract.

HAhahahahaha! Whatever! Yea, the Env Touch is gonna steal the hype - right! Just another peice of junk phone Verizon has. They’ll never carry they Pre and now they’re looking to deal with Apple to increase revenue. They should’ve made the deal with palm, now they’re regretting it. So long Verizon! As soon as my contract ends with you, I’m through. I can’t stand your horrible phones and your inability to chose phones that are superior. The more you stay with windows “junk” mobile the more customers you will lose….
Notice that the quote was that Verizon would carry phones “LIKE” the Palm Pre. Not “We will carry the Palm Pre.” Verizon will never carry any phone which can potentially use so much bandwith of their data network and 3rd party developed apps.
Guess the joke’s on you knucklehead:

The Palm Pre WILL come to Verizon’s network as announced by Verizon chief executive Lowell McAdam.
L2Google.
I only hear about the new LG phone about two weeks ago and I’m a current Verizon customer AND I’ve been looking to upgrade to a smartphone for over a month. Conversely, I heard about the Pre and the next gen iPhone months ago. I’d hardly call that stealing thunder; more like passing gas.
Biggest potential pitfalls of the Pre: 1) VERY few apps at launch and 2) it’s on Sprint network (I left them 3 yrs ago after having the worst signal coverage and customer service experiences). Too bad, if they had done a little more homework prior to launch and had picked a better network, the Pre might have given iPhone a better run. My guess is that they knew iPhone was to be announced at WWDC and force-rushed the launch.
