New Intel Core i7 CPUs Released

The new Intel Core i7 CPUs are soon to be released, these newer faster processor have been appearing on retail sites. They are not ready for us to purchase just yet, but all the early details are up on these sites, an early indication that the release will be very soon.
A number of retail sites have already started to take orders for these two quad-core Core i7 chips. The processors are due for release on May 31, and are targeted towards the high-end of desktop and workstations.
According to PC World, the new chips are the fastest Core i7 processor to date, the quad-core Core i7 Extreme 975 has a speed of 3.33 GHz with an 8MB of shared L3 cache. This version has a price of $1,129.
The second of the two new chips is the Core i7 950, this has a speed of 3.06GHz, and also has an 8MB of shared L3 cache. This version is a lot cheaper, just $649.
