Google Ion Review: Spitting image of HTC Magic

Those lucky guys over at Engadget have managed to get their sticky hands on a Google Ion for review. The first thing that they point out is that it is a spitting image of the HTC Magic. The device that was sent to them came with 30 days’ worth of T-Mobile service thanks to the included SIM card.

Engadget have 30 days to try the Google Ion, which should be more than enough time to find all the good and bad points of the handset. The smartphone is not a public release model, but still has the full features that the public release would have.

The Google Ion review unit has Cupcake, but the portrait keyboard does not seem as spacious as the iPhone, but in landscape mode, things look a lot more comfortable. The handset has a slim and sexy look, but is does like your fingerprints. Check out the full gallery over at Engadget.
