Tetsuya Nomura Interview: Final Fantasy XIII and Versus updates
By: Alan Ng | May 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentIn a recent Famitsu interview with Tetsuya Nomura, the Final Fantasy director and lead Character Designer has given us some updates on Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII and what we can expect to see from Square-Enix at E3.
As reported from ScrawlFX, Nomura revealed that as production work for Final Fantasy XIII is nearing completion, he and the rest of the team are now switching their focus to Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Agito XIII.
Interestingly, he also said in the interview that the team working on Versus XIII is basically the same team that worked on PS1 classic FFVII. He added that the team are working very hard on Versus, on things such as the Battle System and Town lighting.
Nomura says fans will have to wait a while to see details on Versus XIII, but they’ll reveal something ‘special’ once the time is right. As for Final Fantasy XIII though, Nomura said they will be revealing new pictures and videos at this year’s E3.
