Psystar and Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection

It has recently been confirmed that Psystar Corporation have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, which will most likely lead towards the company facing difficulties with Apple and their team of legal advisors.

As reported from SlashGear, the bankruptcy hearing is scheduled to take place on June 5th. While Apple should be pleased to hear about Psystar filing for bankruptcy, they won’t be please that their ongoing court battle with Psystar will be put on hold while this issue is sorted out.

Psystar will no doubt have to think about all the costly legal fees that will occur during the investigation, so it looks as if they won’t have the finances to compete with Apple.
