Full List: Chrysler dealers going out of business
By: Peter Chubb | May 27, 2009 | Leave a CommentThe auto industry are facing some troubling times in the United States, but this has to be the best time if you are in the market to purchase a new vehicle, especially Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep. A couple of weeks ago we reported that Chrysler were to close almost 800 dealers, we now have that full list of dealers who are going out of business.
These dealers have been forced by Chrysler to sell their stock of new vehicles by June 6 2009, yes that is right, just over a week away. Examiner.com tells us that if you are looking for a Chrysler, Dodge or Jeep, then dealers are offering from $1,000 to $6,000, this depends on the model.
When Chrysler sent out the list of the 789 dealerships that were for the chop, they did not keep it secret, unlike General Motors. GM is to close 1,100 dealers, but they said that it was down to each dealer to give details if they appeared on their list.
Today is judgement day for Chrysler, as they find out if a bankruptcy court will rule on a sale of its key assets.
