PS3′s God of War III: New Screenshots

We have managed to locate some new screenshots of PS3′s God of War III, which can be found on the Vandal forum. The game is the next installment of the God of War series and is the fifth chapter in the series chronologically.

God of War III take place after what had happened in God of War II, we have seen a number of trailers for the game and it seems that the whereabouts of the Blade of Olympus are unknown. This is strange, as Kratos had been using the blade at the ending of God of War II.

Fans of the series hope that God of War III will have gameplay much like we have seen on previous installments. We know that two weapons have been confirmed, the Blades of Athena, and the Cestus and a pair of gauntlets that are shaped like a lion’s head.

God of War III which will be in 1080P is expected to be released towards the end of 2009.
