Honda Acura coupe in 2010

Over the past few weeks, we have been hearing rumors of a new 4-door coupe from Honda; it now seems as if the vehicle is a Honda Acura coupe and should be ready for release in 2010. The new vehicle is expected to be a top-level version of the European Accord.

Temple of VTEC reports that Auto Motor und Sport claim that the new Acura coupe looks set to get short front and rear overhangs, this will match perfectly with its coupe-like high beltline. The new vehicle is expected to be front wheel drive, which gets its power from a 2.4-liter 200hp 4-cylinder engine.

If that is not enough power for you, then there will be a Type-S version, this comes with a 2.3L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine, which will produce 260hp. The performance version also comes with a DSG double clutch transmission and SH-AWD, giving much better handling.
