General Motors (GM) Canada employees vote yes

It has been revealed that Canadian employees at General Motors have voted in unity to help keep their jobs and the company afloat. It is the third round of concessions in less than a year and is sure to help General Motors in their quest to survive.
As reported from TheStar, eighty six percent of Canadian employees from GM outlets in Oshawa, St. Catharines, Woodstock and Windsor backed the move which would aim to drive down labour costs.
CAW president Ken Lewenza had this to say on the matter:
”We have lived to fight another day. What autoworkers are going through now is unprecedented in the history of the auto industry.”
