Dell have certainly been showing Ubuntu some much needed attention over the last few months, and now they have decided to offer a Linux-based operating system on their new Dell Studio XPS 13 notebook, this is one of their hottest items at the moment.
You are now able to order yourself a new Studio XPS 13 with Ubuntu 8.10 or 7.04 direct from Dell. Once you take procession of your new Dell, you will be forced to upgrade to Jackalope, hopefully you will not worry about that too much.
The standard Dell Studio XPS 13 comes with a 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 with a 3MB Cache and a 1066Mhz FSB, 3GB of DDR3 RAM, 320GB 7,200RPM Hard Drive, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M G and much more.

I cannot help thinking this is a simple mistake in typing, with the obvious intention of it being 8.04 which is the current \’Long Term Support\’ version . . . . .
