E3 2009: New Capcom game is not Devil May Cry 5

Capcom have confirmed that Devil May Cry 5 will NOT be revealed at this year’s E3 event, which kicks off at the start of June. The news is set to be a big blow for fans of Dante and Co. who hoped that a unnamed new Capcom title would turn out to be Devil May Cry.

As reported from VG247, Capcom revealed the news via it’s official Twitter page. In a statement which is only going to tease fans further, it read:

”Hot rumor bust of the day: Capcom E3 Mystery Title #2 is not — repeat, NOT — Devil May Cry 5. Now, what do you think it is?”
