New iPhone 2009: 32GB version kind of confirmed

It has been revealed that the next iPhone, due to be revealed at WWDC, could come in a 32GB model along with the 8GB and 16GB versions. The news comes after two separate reports, both detailing a 32GB model were leaked last week.

According to i4u, the first report on the 32GB model was found here, over at the Austrain T-Mobile website. The second story to talk about it, was from AppleInsider, who revealed that AT&T are considering the 32GB iphone as an upgrade to customers with BlackBerry handsets.

If the rumors appear to be true, it’s unlikely to be very surprising to the public. What are your opinions on the possibility of a ‘2009′ 32GB iPhone?

  1. I have the 16 gig model now, and I am nowhere near filling even that much memory.
I have more songs, podcasts, apps, etc than I could ever even listen to and play with.
At 32gig, I think I would view it as an external hard drive to be used for backup of my macintosh (assuming they will allow that kind of use).

  2. I have an 8gb 1st gen and I would love to get all my music, videos, and picture on it but at 18gb on my computer there is no chance. A 32gb would let me do this and allow me loads of room for apps (the new model is rumoured to allow 11 pages of them!) so I can’t wait to see what they announce!
