
GM Closing List: Speedway Chevrolet and Ferguson Pontiac/GMC
By: Alan Ng | May 22, 2009 | Leave a CommentMore news on General Motor’s closing saga now as it has been reported recently that Speedway Chevrolet and Ferguson Pontiac/GMC could be next on General Motor’s closing list.
According to this article from BALedger, Ferguson have dismissed this story, but representatives from Speedway declined to comment.
Stewart Brown from Ferguson has stated that the dealership did not recieve a ‘pink slip’ letter from GM informing them on the planned closure. He had this to say on the matter:
“The Ferguson family has been associated with Pontiac since the 1970’s. It (the GM decision) hurts our feelings more than anything.”
