New Palm Pre: What about UK carrier and release?

We all learned a few days back that the much-awaited Palm Pre will be available on Sprint on June 6 in the U.S. and that the price will be $199.99 with rebate. What we do not know is, what carrier the Pre will be available on in the UK.

Phones Review has been doing some digging on the subject, and have found some interesting information. They have been looking over at The Really Mobile project, where they have also been speculating as to which UK carrier the Palm Pre will be available on.

The 3 network in the UK is not getting it, Vodafone UK and O2 UK has remained silent, but Orange is a different story. Orange has confirmed that they are in negotiations with Palm. T-Mobile has also been silent.

So the best bet for the UK is looking to be Orange
