By: Alan Ng | May 21, 2009 | Leave a CommentWe recently told you about Chrysler’s ongoing financial problems and planned closures of dealerships as a result of their bankruptcy. Well, we are now hearing of more planned plant closures and possible protests towards Chrysler.
If things are not bad enough for Chrysler as it is, there are reports that the company are thinking of closing the Chrysler engine plant in Kenosha. The move comes after a prosposed plan to close the Kenosha plant and seven other plants next year.
Hundeds of workers have already made their thoughts clear on the planned closure, as seen in this report from NewRichmond. Signs were held up on the streets in protest with the messages: “Invest in America,” and “Kenosha Yes, Mexico No.”.
