
Microsoft Windows 7 installed from external hard drives

Do not fear, as the new OS can be installed from external hard drives, allowing you to be able to give Windows 7 Release Candidate, a try.
Most of us know that Windows 7 Operating System is downloaded as an ISO file, this is then extracted to a DVD for installation. We all know that netbooks lacks a DVD drive, so a solution was needed. Remember that before you install Windows 7 to your external hard drive; make certain that you have about 5GB of free space.
The whole process takes just under an hour, and is a very simple process, which The Washington Post explains in detail. The process worked great for them on their Acer Aspire One, why not give it a try and let us know how it went.
