Windows Mobile 7 delayed, but 6.5 gets finished
By: Alan Ng | May 19, 2009 | Leave a CommentIt has been let out by Microsoft’s developers that work has now been completed on Windows Mobile 6.5. That’s obviously great news for fans as we look for a release, but as of yet, Windows Mobile 7 has been delayed until Spring 2010.
In a report over at CRN, the news of Windows Mobile 6.5 being completed was let slip by a developer via his Twitter profile. The message he sent out to fans was:
“For the record, Windows Mobile 6.5 is DONE… complete… looks really good IOHO and every bit functional. ping us if u want to know more”
Microsoft are expecting Windows 6.5 enabled phones to be released later on this year. Full story in the link above.
