Windows Mobile 7 delayed, but 6.5 gets finished

It has been let out by Microsoft’s developers that work has now been completed on Windows Mobile 6.5. That’s obviously great news for fans as we look for a release, but as of yet, Windows Mobile 7 has been delayed until Spring 2010.

In a report over at CRN, the news of Windows Mobile 6.5 being completed was let slip by a developer via his Twitter profile. The message he sent out to fans was:

“For the record, Windows Mobile 6.5 is DONE… complete… looks really good IOHO and every bit functional. ping us if u want to know more”

Microsoft are expecting Windows 6.5 enabled phones to be released later on this year. Full story in the link above.
