Slim PS3 Pictures Get Cease and Desist

Remember those leaked pictures of the supposed PS3 Slim we told you about recently? Well it has been confirmed that due to those pictures, Engadget have been served with a ‘cease and desist’ order.

As 1up reports, the interesting point though is that the letter is not from Sony, but actually from the Chinese manufacturer so it asks all sorts of questions.

1up have said that because the letter was not from Sony, the possibility of a redesigned PS3 is still up in the open. They also think that this letter could be the Chinese manufacturer trying to remove pictures of the PS3 Slim so they do not face action from Sony’s legal team. The pics are all over the internet though, so there’s little chance of that happening.
