PS3 Price Drop: Amazon issues price cut for Playstation 3
By: Alan Ng | May 19, 2009 | 1 CommentLooks like PS3 owners have finally gotten their price cut that has been speculated about for months. Before you get excited though, it’s not a major price cut and it comes from retailer Amazon, affecting both SKUs.
As reported from PS3Center, Amazon are now selling the 80GB model for $389, which is a measly $10 cut from the original. The 160GB model has also recieved a small drop, $20 in fact, bringing the price of that package to $479.
Amazon have made the price cuts global, so you’ll find the cheaper prices in your regions too. PS3Center have made the very interesting point about the choice of timing for the PS3 price cut. E3 can’t come any sooner can it?
