New iPhone 2009: WIll it really be at WWDC?
By: Peter Chubb | May 19, 2009 | 1 CommentThere is one question hanging over WWDC 2009, will the new iPhone be there? The Worldwide Developers Conference is just a few short weeks away, and we are all hoping that the third version of the Apple iPhone will be on show.
We know that a huge part of Philip Schiller keynote will be on the new iPhone OS 3.0 and Mac OS X Snow Leopard desktop OS. As Steve Jobs is still on medical leave, it is thought that Apple will not unveil a new version of the iPhone without the CEO at the helm.
FierceDeveloper mentions the statement that was made last week, that there would be a separate event later in the summer, which Apple will use as a platform to launch a range of new iPhone devices. One thing is certain, the rumors of a new iPhone are looking more credible, we just do not know when.
