The new Dell Latitude 2100 Netbook has been kitted out with a host of features that is child friendly, such as its resistive touch-screen, ideal for learning games as well as its rugged exterior. We all know how rough children can be, so the netbook needs to be robust.
Dell has a plan with the new Latitude 2100 Netbook, if they give every student a netbook it will help to stimulate a classroom. By now, you would have guessed that the Dell Latitude 2100 is an education netbook, and is aimed at children from kindergarten to the 12th grade.
Dell know that in the usual market, the 2100 would have a hard time selling next to rivals, which is why they have gone for this niche market. The Dell Latitude 2100 Netbook is on the thick side and weighs in at 3.5 pounds. The 10-inch widescreen has a resolution of 1,024-by-576, and has much of the same features as most other netbooks on the market.
PC World tells us that the Dell Latitude 2100 Netbook is available id five colors and with a starting price of $369.
