New Apple iPhone Pro: Would you want two models?
By: Peter Chubb | May 19, 2009
Our friends over at Phones Review have been doing a little digging, and it seems that not only will we be getting a new iPhone on July 17, but we could also see another new model, the Apple iPhone Pro. The question is would you want two models?
I4U have made a very good point with this, Apple offer a MacBook and a MacBook Pro, so why not an iPhone Pro. As yet this is all speculation as Apple has not confirmed any of this, but it certainly makes perfect sense.
We know that the new iPhone will come with improved RAM and CPU speeds, but that is only good enough for mainstream customers. There are some who wish for their iPhone to have just that little bit more. It is certainly possible that Apple could offer an iPhone Pro with a higher resolution screen, but what other upgrades would a Pro version have?

I have a MacBook Pro and I would like to see an iPhone Pro as well. However, things such as a higher resolution screen would mess up the way Apps are executed on the iPhone. Other than greater processing speed, more ram, and less battery life, there isn’t much an iPhone Pro could do. The iPhone is already pretty damn awesome!
