By: Peter Chubb | May 18, 2009 | 9 CommentsWe have been expecting the news that Verizon will be launching its first subsidized netbook, the HP Mini Notebook. We can now tell you that the offer is finally here, and as you would expect, will become very popular for Verizon’s users.
The netbook comes with all the usual features, such as a 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB of RAM, 80 GB Hard drive, 10.1 inch display, Qualcomm’s GOBI tri-mode EVDO/UMTS/GSM/EDGE 3G modem with dual-band EVDO Rev. A as well as triband HSPA access with US 3G support.
PhoneNews reports that the Verizon HP Mini 1151NR Netbook is 519.99 Month-to Month, or $349.99 on a – year contract, or $249.99 on a 2-year contract. The price reduces further with the $50 instant rebate, and if you select either the $40/month or the $60/month data plans, then the final price will be just $199.99.
