Sprint stores have Palm Pre demo units

We still may not have an official release date for the Pre yet, but it has been revealed that Sprint have started shipping in demo units of the Palm Pre smartphone to retail stores across the US.

That’s according to IntoMobile, who claim to have been told this information by a reliable source. The demo units from Sprint are under strict lockdown aas you can imagine and are packaged in Sprint Palm Pre retail boxes.

This news is just further indication that Sprint are preparing to announce official details of the Palm Pre in one big statement. All these little stories about supposed release dates and leaked images are just adding to the excitement, don’t you agree?
