Windows Marketplace: Officially open for developer registration

We can now confirm that Microsoft have officially opened Windows Marketplace for developer registration. We recently wrote about a preview for the marketplace, while it wasn’t so long ago that Microsoft posted their guidelines to developers.

According to IntoMobile, developers are now able to register for marketplace and are advised to do so as soon as possible. As for everyone else, its good news as it means we are one step closer to the public release of Windows Mobile 6.5 and our access to the marketplace.

Developers should head to the official website here for more details. We’ll keep you updated on the release of Windows Mobile 6.5.
