PS3 Slim, New Playstation 3 or Fake Pics

You knew this was coming didn’t you? Following on from the big rumor that a redesigned PS3 model is on the way, some images of the supposed device have surfaced on the internet. They look rather fake to us though.
The images come courtesy of Chinese website ‘Levelup‘ and there are quite a few for you to look at. The first one shows the supposed retail box for the PS3 slim and then the others let you have a close up look of the slim.
Our immediate impressions are that these pictures are fake. It was the cheap plastic design you can see in pics 5 and 6 that really made our decision. I mean, it looks horrible. Let’s hope these pictures are just someone’s idea of a joke.

The pics and slim design are 100% correct.
Considering the 80GB ps3 has been such short supply it was quite obvious that it was legit.
