Google Android App from USA Today

One of the best selling newspapers USA Today, have announced that they have released a USA today application for the Google Android platform. The app intends to provide users with the latest news, weather, sports and photos, whilst on the move.

As reported from PRNewsWire, Matt Jones, vice president of mobile strategy and operations for Gannett Digital had this to say on the release of USA Today:

“In the rapidly expanding mobile marketplace Android is a great platform for USA TODAY”. He added that “USA TODAY continues to develop innovative mobile products and services and the Android application is an excellent way to extend our reach to the latest emerging platforms.”
