New Sony PS3 and PSP Go at E3 2009

It has been strongly rumored that Sony are set to unveil a new hardware redesign at this year’s E3 event, which starts in June. It follows on from the new PSP model that is also expected to be shown.

The news has come from Playstation Lifestyle, who usually have reliable sources within the industry. They were the ones who also revealed some details on the PSP Go! claims, so it’s exciting news if the new hardware redesign rumors are true.

They say that it could be a number of options. One option is just the announcement of White and Silver Dual Shock3 pads. Then, theres the big one: A new slimmer redesign of the Playstation 3. They point out that Sony have followed the trend of slimming down the PS1,PS2 and PSP, so this is a likely option for Sony.

PS Lifestyle have said all will be revealed at E3, so let’s wait and see what Sony have up their sleeves.

i think it may be possiable… but makeing it slimmer will mainly matter that if its backwards compatible. and since it will be smaller that means cheaper to make so then they wont be losing money by adding the ps2 software to it. which would make so many ps3 fans jump for joy. but more interesting im waiting for the PSP GO! cuz from what ive been reading and hearing i really really want one! :p
