Confirmed for Xbox 360: Forza Motorsport 3

By: Alan Ng | May 13, 2009 | 7 Comments

Forza Motorsport 3 for the Xbox 360 has practically been confirmed due to recent reports we have learnt. Microsoft have yet to officially announce the game, but Audi germany may have let some details slip.

According to Videogameszone.de, they had contacted Audi Germany to ask them whether the Audi R8 would be playable in Forza Motorsport 3, since the car has already been confirmed for Sony’s Gran Turismo 5.

Their response was: “As Forza Motorsport 3 – like Forza 2 before – belongs to games of high-quality-standards, Audi will be probably represented [in Forza 3].”

Good news then for fans of the Forza series. You can probably expect Microsoft to reveal some details at this year’s E3 event. We’ll keep you updated.

Oh it’ll certainly be better Ellis. Polyphony Digital just does things better than most other studios with regards to their racing games. I’m glad there’s a poor man’s simulator though. Even those who can’t afford PS3′s should have ‘some’ kind of racing experience, too bad though, GT5 is going to raise the bar yet again.

Oh, by the way, is Forza 3 finally going to manage 1080p @ 60fps? Cause GT5 already is 8P

Umm…. Grantursimo is not that amazing or realistic and it’s definitaly not competitive seeng as i played the ps3 for an hour on a friends acount drove a crapy lap in a so called F1 car took top 5. Now you play forza and try that crap, it’s way more competitive and realistic and fun. Ps. Graphics aren’t everything, but i cant lie GT has amazing graphics :0

Aww, fanboy can’t face reality? Sorry buddy, every single car in GT is created using blueprints, engine designs and complete structural layouts of every single car. Whereas, Forza’s just a nice looking cartoony racer. If you think Forza is more realistic than Gran Turismo, simply because of the tacked on damage model, which is hardly representative of the real thing. Well, I mean, that speaks for itself, and I need not make you look any more foolish, you simply do that better yourself.
