Palm Pre News: A date when we can expect a release date

I would imagine that consumers are starting to get a bit bored when it comes to the release date of the Palm Pre. It seems that a day does not go past when a new release date rumor appears on the Internet, we are sorry but we have to keep posting the rumors, as consumers still wish to know when we can expect the release date.

BGR have reported that both Palm and Sprint are due to make a big announcement in the Wall Street Journal on May 19, 2009. If we were betting people, then we would say that this announcement would be pricing and availability.

Looks like May 19 is the release date for the most talked about phone over the past 3 months, but is this finally the official release date, only time will tell. We can expect to see a huge advertising campaign soon; will it be as good as Apple’s iPhone campaign was?
